Bio-Alchimid is proven to be prone to getting seriously infected.
Dr. Steven Gottlieb, a prominent name in HIV research and treatment, highly recommended Anna Love’s clinic as I was experiencing severe facial wasting, which impacted my ability to get employment. In his office he presented me with a very large portfoio of before and after photos of her patients, and the effect was amazing. I researched the filler, Bio-Alchimid, and what little I found stated it was Manufactured in Italy and had a 20-year-long history of safe application at that time.
I visited Anna’s clinic 3X. She explained that these 3 visits were sort of a quality control procedure, allowing her to gauge each application after 2 months before proceeding with the next. I was impressed with her caution and the final effect was amazing, not looking at all artificial. People assumed I had merely gained weight rather than had work done.
One year later I experienced a terrible infection in my face and was hospitalized for 3 days and remained on an IV drip of antibiotics. The doctor had to puncture my right cheek with a needle in order to be able to squeeze out the infection, and along with it came the Bio-Alchimid, leaving my face very lopsided. As time passed I intentionally lost weight which only accentuated the areas where the filler had been placed, creating a lumpy unattractive look, and making me very self-conscious in public situations.
This year 2016 I again contracted an infection but it was caught soon enough that one IV treatment and a month of antibiotics arrested the infection, but the anxiety of ending up in the hospital has been ever-present from the first episode, impacting my life negatively.
My research, especially among Canadians who were experiencing lots of problems with B-A, as it was approved by the Canadian version of our FDA and it’s application has been widespread in Canada, was disheartening. Lots of people were having problems.
I would like to have it removed to alleviate the fear of future infections, even knowing I might be left with a saggy face.
There is a British TV show on YouTube called “Botched Up Bodies” in which a woman with a very similar problem with B-A is treated on camera, the removal not looking all that difficult, but it was performed by a doc with PRIOR EXPERIENCE with B-A. Interestingly he did an MRI on the woman’s face first so he could first see every area that contained the B-A before proceeding.
You do NOT want to be someone’s practice guinea pig, so if you are searching for a solution to your B-A problem, do the necessary research and only go with a doc who has had a successful outcome performing B-A removal. This TV show did not do a “where are they now?” type follow-up to ascertain if this woman’s procedure remained trouble free after the fact.

They ruined my life
I have HIV and went to Clinic Estetica to have Bio Alcamid, a filler, put into my face (as the HIV had taken its tole and made my face sunken in just a little)...but, a year or so after the procedure, the filler migrated and I became lumpy and looked frightening. Any extra money i had I had to pay a plastic surgeon to fix it, and now i have scars on my face...as well...sometimes the filler thats still in there hurts...like now, and it is migrating again and I am terrified because it looks horrible and its on my face! I was told it was safe, and i feel so *** for trusting these bastards who have pretty much ruined my life.
i am going to try to sue them...

Clinic Estetica - Dishonest!!!
I went to Clinic Estetica several times to have my calves fixed. A Palo Alto plastic surgeon had lipo'd them without my consent and for no reason while I was under anesthesia for another surgery. He made large concave areas that had to be filled in with artificial filler, so I went to Clinic Estetica for Bio-Alcamid.
Anna Love, the owner/director assured me that BA was safe and that it
couldn't harden. I spent about $12,000 there but it wasn't enough to
fix my calves. When I got more money together I contacted Anna,
but then they didn't have BA any more. Over a period of almost a year I
called her dozens of times and sent several emails asking her where I
could get more, as she was the North American representative for the company that made BA. But Anna could not be bothered responding to me, because she knew she wouldn't be making any money on it.
Then the BA hardened, and I again contacted her asking
what I can do to remove the hardness, since I can't get another filler
until I do that. But of course I got no response. And more recently the BA disappeared from one calf, and the other is still hard. Anna had told me the
BA was permanent.
Anna is a liar and a phony. She will act like she is your best friend as long as you are
spending money there, but if you have a problem, forget it. And I asked her if there were any bad outcomes or problems with their new PMMA filler, and she told me no, but at the same time I was in contact with one of their patients who was telling me how she was complaining to Anna about problems with the product. Anna was blatantly lying to me.

Bad outcome
I was injected PMMA AT CLINIC ESTETICA, who knows what fillers they use as i was told they were experimenting on a new product, in any case I have terrible lumps in my chest that can't get rid of, I underwent surgery to have the fillers removed but still the lumps are so resisting that they won't get out of my chest.
I contacted them to see if they can help me out with my situation but they recommended me another doctor to take care of it at my own expenses.
It's been very hard for me to deal with all this ordeal.
PLEASE DON'T DO FILLERS BEFORE YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH.
I should sue them for malpractice. if you are another victim of this clinic please right a review.

I HAD MY FACE DONE AND IT WAS A HORRIBLE MESS ONE SIDE WAS LAGER THEN THE OTHER I HAD INJECTIONS OF A FILLER .BIO-ALCAMID IT WAS DONE COMPLETELY WRONG I CALLED DR LOVE SHE SAID SHE WOULD REMOVE THE FILLER BUT WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR HER MISTAKE I ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL FOR TWO WEEKS ALMOST DIED FROM THIS MISTAKE AND THE INFECTION CAUSED BY DR ANA LOVE I NOW AM DIS FIGURED AND AM A YOUNG WOMEN WITH A HORRIBLE SCAR FROM THE INFECTION IT WAS CUT OUT OF MY FACE SO IF YOU THINK ABOUT GOING TO THIS CLINIC DON'T GO AND BE THE NEXT VICTIM

I had done a mastectomy 10 days ago, the doctor that performed the surgery showed me the tissues removed and the fillers were like rocks mixed up with tissue, I gonna have a second surgery because there are still lumps deep inside the pectoral muscles.
I had bio-alcamid injections in my face at clinica estetica in tijuana many years ago & have tried everything to get rid of the lumps it left in my face. It changed my smile forever.
When I had it done, I was told by Anna Love that it was removable, but I went back a very short time afterwards, because it halted my natural smile & she tried, but didn't know how to remove it.
It was irresponsible to use a product that she didn't have control over.
They may not use it anymore, but I wouldn't trust anything they do.
Unethical & dangerous. Don't go there.
I had those fillers injected in my face as well, there were removed but they left horrible tissue damage as well.
